“Sr. Surmanski has a unique and very well organized class and always seeks to provide different types of assignments that fall out of the normal categories of papers and tests. She seems to always be doing her own academic research so that both her and her students are up to date with all the latest theories and information in the field of Theology. She always has clear expectations and instruction and makes sure that every student really understands the material. She is always so helpful whenever you need an article for research and really shows she cares by going out of her way to find the proper resources for students. I have to say that the whole of the Theology department is great and she is a wonderful contribution to an already amazing department.”  - Anthony Aquila
